Role Purpose


The CMA Controller will partner with Commercial Finance and Sales teams in Australia to provide oversight and trusted strategic commercial advice for Customer Marketing Agreement arrangements.

They deliver insights and analysis, communicate recommendations, facilitate decision making and escalation processes through providing commercial business partnering support for CMA.

The role has responsibility for educating and challenging Finance and Sales teams to ensure compliance with CMA accounting policies and SOX control requirements, while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

They drive process adherence and standardisation across channels, ensuring accuracy of customer pricing and rebate arrangements and alignment to business expectations.


Key Responsibilities include

  • Provide commercial business partnering support for CMA, preparing financial analysis and review, advisory and local commentary of CMA reporting issued by the shared services centre.
  • Responsible for the CMA forecast and impact on the cash flow forecast and contra liability, providing input on risks & opportunities related to CMA and monitoring CMA performance in line with CCEP revenue accounting policy and applicable SOX controls.
  • Provide backup support for maintaining the financial model for Contra calculation for Australia
  • Provide local claims dispute escalation support to ensure timely resolution, minimisation of outstanding claims and consideration for impact on financial outlook and results.

Desired Prior Work Experience & Attributes Include

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or Accounting with CA/CPA qualifications highly regarded
  • 5+ years' experience in a Finance / Commercial role ideally in an FMCG environment with solid understanding of financial and commercial drivers
  • Sales Accounting/experience working with Customer Marketing agreements and good understanding of CCEP's Revenue Accounting Policy
  • Advanced analytical, excel and problemsolving skills and able to use data and a commonsense approach to help find solutions to operational and strategic initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and present complex financial information simply
