Description

Position Information:

At Windsor Park Public School, we provide quality inclusive education and work with our community to build strong foundations for our students' achievement and life-long learning.

We have 224 students in ten mainstream classes and three specialist support classes, which cater for students with a range of disabilities with similar needs.

18% of our students are Aboriginal and 5% of our students have a language background other than English. The students and staff strive for educational attainment and growth in all school activities and settings.

This is evident in the school's pursuit of continued growth in student outcomes in literacy and numeracy and involvement in a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including dance, sport, choir, debating, and public speaking.

Our school provides extensive learning, wellbeing and social supports for students including targeted literacy and numeracy intervention programs, learning enrichment groups, mental health support programs, and social skills and resiliency programs.

The school is committed to "Restorative Practices" and is a member of the Da Murrytoola Aboriginal Educational Consultative Group (AECG).

Together as a school community we all work towards 'Lifelong Learning' for our students.
