Job Description:


The Role


Our Civil Infrastructure group in Gold Coast is growing, and we are currently seeking a passionate and committed professional with a background in project delivery, asset management and asset assessment to join our Bridges and Structures Team, with close ties to our Asset Management & Materials (AM&M) team.


In this role, you will join a team who partner with our clients to optimise and improve their business performance by offering integrated asset and information management, risk and reliability improvement services.

This role will support the successful delivery, profitability and strategic growth of our infrastructure asset management services, working across sectors such as Transport, Defence & Water.

This position will also provide the opportunity to develop your technical, project management and business development skills.

Your main responsibilities will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Developing a range of strategic, tactical, operational documents such as Asset Maintenance Plans, Asset Lifecycle Plans, Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMPs) and Asset Management Plans (AMPs)
  • Developing operational, maintenance and capital works programming
  • Undertaking asset risk and criticality assessments
  • Supporting Asset information improvements
  • Supporting clients with the development and implementation of Asset Management Systems/Frameworks
  • Supporting clients with whole of life Asset Management solutions
  • Leading and facilitating workshops with clients.

About You

Ideally, you will have:

  • Strategic and tactical thinking capability applied in asset management throughout asset lifecycle
  • An understanding of Asset Management leading practices, frameworks and relevant national and international standards
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver a broad range of asset management services
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and sustainable strategies for clients, including the integration of other business line expertise
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to providing quality outputs on time, every time
  • Ability to coach and mentor individuals (this position does not entail line management but instead the management of people within project teams)
  • Leadership skills including leadership, human relations, team building, innovation and motivation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and nurturing networks within the business
  • Ability to foster relationships with existing clients and bring new clients / asset management work to the business (or something like this???)
  • The ability to learn quickly particularly about disciplines and services within our company
