Position:

Braemar College is seeking a proven
teacher and leader to deliver the learning and teaching goals for Learning Enhancement, specifically to;

  • Work with other leaders including the Head of Senior School, Year Level Leaders and Instructional leaders to enable personalised and differentiated pathways for students with specific learning requirements;
  • Identify and review modifications and adjustments that students require;
  • Mentor and coach teachers on differentiation within the classroom;
  • Lead a small team of teachers who specialise in this area;
  • Coordinate of all aspects of individual educational plans including the accurate registration of data for NCCD;
  • Coordinate and record student, and parent conferences (SSG's).

About You:


It is expected that you will:

  • Have a passion for the area of special and individual education.
  • Display exemplary abilities in differentiated instruction, effective pedagogical teaching, and assessment strategies.
  • Have a high regard for student wellbeing.
  • Have recent experience in the area of learning enhancement.
  • Be qualified in the area of learning enhancement.
  • Have a proven ability to participate effectively in a team environment.
  • Hold current Teacher registration with VIT.


In addition, the preferred applicant will have an understanding of and commitment to, the ethos of Independent Schooling and a willingness to contribute to College events and adhere to the College's 'Child Safety Policy'.


Employees at the College will be required to be compliant with any Health Direction made under the Public and Environmental Health Act 2-11 which is in place at the time of employment.
