This outstanding civil contracting company from WA has been successfully completing complex civil and infrastructure projects since the early 1980s. Their current focus includes multiple Perth metro civil and water-related infrastructure projects involving micro-tunnelling, pipe-jacking, pipelines, sewer lines, and drainage for various clients.

They are now in search of a dynamic leader to fill the position of OPERATIONS MANAGER for these projects in Perth on a permanent basis.

About the Role

As the OPERATIONS MANAGER, you will oversee project staff on multiple work fronts, collaborating closely with project managers to ensure project delivery within schedule and budget. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical issues, managing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, safety standards, material procurement, and vendor pricing.

The OPERATIONS MANAGER will supervise project teams in the metro region, often working on several sites simultaneously.

This role requires interacting with clients such as Water Corporation, PTA, private developers, councils, and other civil contractors on major projects. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are crucial for managing teams effectively and maintaining client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a minimum of 10 years' experience as a Project/ OPERATIONS MANAGER on civil projects, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead large teams.
