The
IT Officer promotes a strong internal service culture, ensuring a service delivery approach that is responsive to the operational and strategic needs of the organisation.

The IT Officer provides first and second level remote operational Systems and ensures delivery of quality IT services.

This is an integral role to the Crown IT Department requiring a high level of interaction with external vendors, internal customers, and employees to ensure the Crown Group receives optimal business value and ongoing user confidence and satisfaction of customers.


This position is available full time on a 12 month contract.

This role covers a 24x7 roster working 12 hour shifts including two days (6am-6pm), two nights (6pm-6am) and four days off, therefore a flexible approach to working hours is essential.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • 24 hours a day 7 days a week support of all systems.
  • Remote support of Table Games and EGMs with a high priority
  • Remote support of Bars and Restaurant's Micros System
  • Remote support VIP Accommodation Technology and VIP Gaming Areas with the highest priority
  • Remote support of Hotel Guest's TV and Internet Issues
  • Hands on support of Perth Gaming / Hotels and Corporate IT infrastructure.
  • Creating System access for users for Perth, Melbourne and all other Crown sites.
  • Weekly Maintenance of termination and transfer of user access for systems
  • Reporting and managing communications in the event of major system failures.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Minimum 1year technical experience in a PC environment; MCP preferred
  • Demonstrable experience working in teams to deliver business outcomes
  • Willingness to continuously update personal IM skills and knowledge
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
