We are seeking a
Technology Application Specialist - Rental. We are focused on delivering market leading technical support and training for Caterpillar Technology products whilst providing and preserving Safety, Sustainability and Productivity for our customers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to our Technology and Innovation Manager, you will be a strong contributor to the overall customer experience by delivering technical support and training around Caterpillar construction technology products and maintaining the Cat Rental Store (CRS) technology fleet.
This is a fast-developing area of our business and will see you discussing technology solutions with internal stakeholders, and new and existing customers.
Daily responsibilities will include the following:
- The maintenance, configuration, and field support for Cat Technologies
- Providing training for other employees and customers in Cat Technology products.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in Caterpillar Technology products and solutions
- Delivery and operator training for the New Equipment sales team
- Delivery and operator training for CRS rental fleet customers
- Maintaining CRS technology equipment as it returns and exits the rental yard
- Configuration and calibration to suit CRS customer needs
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Experience with Technology systems within the construction or mining space.
- A passion for machine onboard technologies.
- Experience with Machine Control and Guidance Technologies.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building ability.
- Capability to multitask and work independently.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of survey principles.
- Understanding of GPS and Network infrastructure.
