Our client delivers high-quality tenancy management services across a range of housing options, with the purpose of achieving safe, secure housing and assisting tenants to access life-enhancing opportunities.
About the opportunity:
Responsible for leading an experienced property services team of technical and asset officers, who manage the day-to-day delivery of the planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance programs.
This position is responsible for the development and delivery of the relevant strategic objectives, business priorities, and KPIs relating to the management of the assets.
You will provide expert advice, coaching, and leadership to the team, and drive the development and implementation of best practice policies and processes.

- Actively contribute to the development and delivery of a Strategic Asset Management Plan and Annual Asset Maintenance Plan
- Provide expert advice on asset liability of new property acquisitions and contribute to funding submissions and tenders
- Develop excellent property data management including reporting on adherence to plans, departmental KPIs, and budgets
- Ensure quality service delivery by developing and implementing systems to monitor and review the work performed by contractors to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Ensure appropriate management of assets by delivering planned, cyclical, and responsive maintenance programs
- Demonstrate dynamic planning, insightful reporting, and change management as you operationalise the strategic plan through business planning with your team
- Ensure Property Services, including contractors, are compliant with both the internal policies and procedures and the National Regulatory System
The role also offers flexible working arrangements to support your work-life balance - part-time and full-time hours (35 per week) considered.
About You
- Previous experience in asset management, property services or equivalent
- Relevant tertiary qualifications i.e. a degree in property, business administration, commerce or related discipline.
- Experience managing and leading a team
- Strong data management and analysis skills
- Experience managing key stakeholder relationships and contracts
- Technical understanding of general essential services (electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, structural works, and leading causes and remedial construction)
