Sitting on 12 acres of lush landscaped grounds, Mantra Lorne is the largest residential conference venue in Victoria.

We are seeking a passionate
Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team.

As our next Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

Be responsible for motivating and inspiring a small team of Maintenance Assistants to ensure that our property functions like a well-oiled machine
Communicate effectively at all levels, from the General Manager to guests and contractors working onsite
Be required to always keep a level head in a variety of situations in front of both guests and fellow team members
Work closely with all other departments including Housekeeping and Front Office to manage the issues at hand

What we are looking for:

A strong leader with previous maintenance or engineering experience within a strata/MLR operation to take ownership of the maintenance department
The ability to be a team player with a flexible approach to leading the Maintenance Team
A comprehensive financial understanding of managing a profitable operation, and familiarity with WHS legislation compliance would be advantageous
A relevant trade qualification is ideal
A capacity to take initiative and coordinate multiple tasks or projects simultaneously while maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule will be highly regarded
Availability to carry our emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours, in the event of a full power failure, evacuation fire system reset and/or failure of mechanical systems
