About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across the business, we are now seeking an experienced Store person to join our high performing team in Welshpool WA 6106.

This role will see you responsible for the receiving, handling and despatch of goods in the store and warehouse in order to support branch operations whilst also assisting in the control of stock.

This is a hands on role that will see you assisting across the workshop in various capacities.

Your responsibilities in this role will also include;

Load and unload deliveries from transport companies
Check off inbound deliveries as they are received, ensuring we have received are correct product and quantity as per our purchase order (including

measuring and checking the diameter of steel)

Pick goods for projects + service
Wrap, strap and pack all outgoing orders so they will be received in worthy condition
Maintaining a clean working environment
Operating various hand power tools
Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will possess;

Experience working as a trade assistant within a workshop environment
A working knowledge of warehouse practices
Strong attention to detail, effective communication and time management skills
Experience working with power tools
Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems experience
Valid Drivers Licence and Forklift ticket
Able to work well autonomously and within a team and follow directives with a positive 'can do' attitude
Demonstrated safety first mindset and a desire to develop a long standing career within the Hardchrome Sales business.
