The Location:


A coastal metropolis situated in the Mid West region of Western Australia, approximately 424 kilometers (263 mi) north of the state capital, Perth.

The urban population of this large city is 37,648, and it boasts of a major seaport on the west coast, which plays a critical role as a service and logistics center for regional mining, fishing, wheat, sheep, and tourism industries.

The city enjoys a stunning Mediterranean climate, with sunshine almost all year round.

Winter temperatures average around 20C, while summer temperatures soar to 33C, making it an ideal destination for beach lovers from across the globe.

Apart from the breathtaking coastline with its turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, the area is experiencing a booming café and restaurant scene.


The Position:


This is an Advanced Trainee position for a dedicated Paediatric Registrar responsible for providing clinical care to patients whilst under the supervision of strong team of consultant pediatricians.

The position is accredited for up to 12 months of Advanced Training in General Paediatrics. We are seeking an enthusiastic registrar to join our teams in one of six hospitals.


The Hospital:

Having undergone a $73 million redevelopment underway, this hospital is set to become a state-of-the-art medical facility. It currently has 66 hospital beds catering to acute medical, surgical, paediatric, and

maternity patients, including a 24-hour Emergency Department.


The hospital offers a broad range of services, such as ante-natal classes, lactation consultation, chemotherapy, renal dialysis, hospital-at-home visiting, asthma education, medical imaging, pathology, and same-day surgery.

The newly introduced inpatient and day rehabilitation units offer additional services to patients. Additionally, visiting specialists provide a diverse range of surgical services.


The Requirements

  • Must be registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway
  • UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's assessed by the RACP and have been found to be substantially or partially comparable
