The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Salisbury Manufacturing Mill as a
People Business Partner. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

People are our strength, and in this exciting role, you will play an integral part in supporting the Orrcon Steel business to achieve and enhance its strategic outcomes through its people - resulting in a high performing culture and engaged workforce.

Supporting our busy and successful Salisbury branch, this opportunity includes a competitive remuneration package including our profit share program (annual bonus).

What Will You Do?

As a trusted Business Partner you will:

contribute to the design, implementation and execution of the Orrcon Steel People Plan

- work with leaders to develop and implement strategies for workplace change to deliver improved business outcomes
- support and coach line leaders to effectively manage all people matters, including culture, talent and succession planning, learning and development, workforce planning, performance management, recruitment and onboarding activities, and disciplinary processes
- assist, guide and coach leaders to develop a high performing culture
- support line managers in establishing efficient and cost-effective people and business solutions

As an experienced HR professional who can connect with our people and build meaningful relationships, you will bring:

passion for influencing and leading change

- proven ability to manage ER and IR matters, including Enterprise Agreement negotiations
- dedication to achieving business outcomes
- the ability to coach and guide leaders on people related matters
