About the role

Reporting to the Australian Director, based in Brisbane - Headquarters, this position is an integral part of the overall business.

Responsibilities

Lead Air & Sea Cargo operational team
Manage customer expectations and service level agreements and KPI's
Be accountable for financial performance and generate forecasts and monthly reports
Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
Manage staff performances, reward and training
Develop and monitor workflow allocation and process and procedures
Stay informed with relevant Customs laws and manage compliance and regulations
Manage the daily functions of the business
Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
Manage budget to align with goals of business

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a similar role
Extensive Forwarding operations experience
Leadership experience preferred but not essential. Those with a genuine desire to lead a team encouraged to apply
Extensive knowledge regarding market trends and the challenges facing the sector

Proficiency with Cargowise

Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and work constructively with other Departments
Experience in Interbranch operations
Strong commercial acumen
Strong ability to multitask
Comfort working with multiple groups within business
