At AGL, we believe progress is powered by our people.

If you're set on making real change for tomorrow, we have the scale, resources and ambition to get it started today.

Now's an extraordinary time to work with us.

We're taking the lead on renewables and expanding our products to make them more sustainable, affordable and useful for all Australians.

That's what we call progress. To achieve it, we're bringing together people with unique stories, perspectives, backgrounds and talent - and we need yours too

About the Role

  • Provide planning and scheduling for AGL Major Projects
  • Implement and utilise standardised project planning frameworks
  • Be a part of the decarbonisation of Australia's energy sector

At AGL, we believe that Australia's energy future will be affordable and smart - delivered from renewable sources that are backed by flexible energy storage technologies; which come together to power our homes, businesses and vehicles.

Importantly, it will be low emissions based.

As Australia's largest and oldest integrated electricity generator and retailer, AGL is in a unique position to contribute to this future for Australia and make a meaningful impact on the country's decarbonisation.

Our Major Projects team operates as our Centre of Excellence - committed in shaping the safe delivery of critical, large-scale energy projects and studies within cost and schedule.

Working within a matrix reporting structure, our team of project experts deliver studies and end-to-end projects whilst drawing on our extensive shared services and resource capabilities where required.

Our transition and growth strategy consists of a wide variety of exciting energy initiatives; ranging from energy storage developments, greenfield utility-scale renewable generation, through to brownfield asset optimisation - which will deliver better outcomes for our customers and the environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner / Scheduler to support the on-going development and delivery of the planning function for the Major Projects teams' project portfolio.

Implement and use standardised planning processes and ensuring compliance, while providing accurate planning, scheduling and reporting for projects under a portfolio.
