About the Project:


John Holland are delighted to have been selected to deliver the M- M12 Interchange, which includes widening the M7 between the M5 at Prestons and Richmond Rd at Oakhurst, and building a new interchange between the M7 and M12 and an upgrade to Elizabeth Drive to connect it to the M12.


With early works and utilities commencing in April and our broader construction team mobilising shortly after, we are seeking a Community Place Manager to support the Elizabeth Drive Connection team.

This role will report into the Community and Stakeholder Director.


Your Role:


  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders including community, businesses, and other stakeholders to support the effective delivery of the project
  • Required to be on call to respond to and investigate enquiries and complaints
  • Provide advice and assistance to the community and where required face to face meetings regarding specific issues
  • Maintain the consultation manager database and generate reports as required
  • Work within an integrated team to deliver on communications, stakeholder and community management issues

About You:


  • Minimum 4 years experience in communications / 2 years in community relations and stakeholder engagement in a complex environment, preferably in motorway infrastructure
  • Corporate communications experience including social media, print publications, design messaging and branding
  • Tertiary qualifications desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
