The Self-Employment Assistance program is a new and innovative program funded by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and supports job seekers with getting their own business up and running.
It provides participants with valuable knowledge and guidance, Certificate in New Small Business Management and all important ongoing mentoring and support.

- Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
- To be considered for this role, it is an essential that you hold a current TAE qualification
- You will be required to undergo a criminal history check, be able to complete a Working with Children check and hold a current drivers licence
What you'll be doing:
This role will be based in our Broadmeadows office and cover the surrounding North Western Melbourne region, delivering comprehensive online training and mentoring for the new and innovative Self Employment Assistance program.
- Consult and assess applicants to determine their suitability for the program
- Delivery of Cert IV in Entrepreneurship and New business
- Assist participants to develop a detailed business plan to Government and APM standards
- Provide personalised coaching, motivation and guidance to participants
- Facilitate the program in accordance with accreditation standards and contractual obligations
- Conduct a 12 month business mentoring program to support participants business progress
- Implement marketing and Networking strategies to engage with potential participants
