Although this position will be based at the RPAH campus there is a requirement to work from all other Sydney LHD facilities.


About the role


The position is a member of the Digital Health and Innovation (DH&I) Executive team and is responsible for the management of the Clinical Information Systems (CIS) Directorate.

As part of the executive team, the position will contribute to the development of the DH&I strategic, operational and resource plans and policies to ensure that they align with the corporate objectives, Ministry of Health and eHealth strategies, relevant legislation and standards.


We are looking for someone who has...**- Experience and a record of achievement managing large programs and leading multidisciplinary teams, ideally in a large and complex clinical ICT service environment, and/or a relevant bachelor's degree in ICT or Management or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in complex program and project management that utilise recognised methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2) and the ability to manage a significant number of simultaneous parallel projects.
  • Excellent skills in leadership, mentoring and managing expectations from different groups across the organisation and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

About working for SLHD
