Chief Operations Office (COO) is responsible for servicing multiple brands within the Group internationally, delivering a highly flexible operations environment, outstanding customer experiences and better risk outcomes.

This is achieved through end-to-end process management, use of innovative new technologies and a cross-skilled, capable workforce.


The Strategy and Performance (S&P) team contribute to the strategy by providing leadership and governance on the COO's strategic agenda, ensuring the health of all the programs in our portfolio, managing strategic workforce planning, as well as giving operational support to our customer-facing business counter parts.

The Strategic Workforce Planning team is responsible for long
- and short-term forecasting, scheduling, real-time support, WFM (WorkForce Management) system maintenance and expansion and our Future Workforce.


Do work that matters:

We are looking for new team members to:

  • Embed workforce management practices in the businesses we support and provide insights to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure workforce system stability, and compliance with legislative and business rules
  • Deliver technical training and ensure effective usage of workforce systems by operational teams
  • Optimise workforce management system usage and ensure best practice
  • Lead the development of new workforce system solutions to improve customer and employee outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve own capabilities and demonstrate creativity and ingenuity when tackling complex problems.
  • Influence business units to release and provide required information and data to support your work
  • Uplift teams' capabilities by delivering training sessions on "best practice" usage of workforce tools and lead related continuous improvement initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor and help to address and solve for key business problems
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions, and decisions we expect from our people
What will set you up for success?- Strong demonstrated experience in operational workforce scheduling tools- Strong business acumen and influencing skills, including analytics experience- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to support with requirements definition, report scope and planning, design, prototyping and production

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Experience with workforce management systems in an operational environment
  • Understanding of Enterprise Agreements and interpreting work rules and HR Policies as it applies to employee schedules and entitlements
  • Display an understanding of quantitative activities such as workforce analytics to generate actionable value-add insights from complex data
  • Are experienced with large data sets and data analysis tools such as SQL
  • Utilise SQL or similar tool
  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience (computer science, statistics, mathematics, workforce planning, contact centre or related disciplines)
  • Possess knowledge of Financial Services industry and/or Banking Operations (would be highly regarded)
