The role


Terelion is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Accounting Administrator to join the busy team based in Booragoon, WA.


As the Accounting Administrator you will be responsible for reconciling accounts, processing payments to suppliers and vendors as well as maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts.

You will ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and timely and complete monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

This role is a full-time requirement, however Terelion recognises the desire for flexible working options. Flexible employment arrangements include condensed working weeks, working from home, flexible start/finish times, etc.


Areas of responsibility- Coordination and completion of monthly and other regular reporting to global head office and to Sandvik Australia.- Statutory and regulatory reporting is completed and lodged on time.- Ensuring the company is ASIC compliant at all times and practices good corporate governance.- Managing the month end close process, being responsible for calculation of significant figures and final review.- Managing the preparation of statutory and financial reports for the legal entity within the required deadlines.- Oversee all outstanding supplier, customer, and third-party vendor obligations.- Prepare and submit tax documentation to the proper legal institutions.- Employee expense payment and reconciliations.


Profile:


  • Relevant Financial Qualification (Bachelor's Degree, Chartered Accountant)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Strong understanding of accounting procedures and best practice
  • Proven experience dealing with key internal & external stakeholders
  • Strong communication, customer service and relationship building skills
  • Strong attention to detail
