These positions are suited to post foundation doctors seeking an out of programme experience in an environment where you will gain exposure to High Acuity and Trauma presentations. You will join a supportive multi-disciplinary team with an array of teaching opportunities available.
The Hospital
Bunbury Hospitalis a regional hospital comprising a 190-bed hospital. The Emergency department is the largest in Western Australia outside Perth and receives in excess of 45,000 presentations per year. Functioning as the regional centre for the South West generates exposure to the whole spectrum of acute medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric, gynaecological and mental health related illness. They have fantastic training facilities and clubs for Junior Doctors and have a simulation room for practicing procedures. High Acuity and Trauma due to the mining/ farming industries.
The Location
Bunbury and the South West Region of Australia offer professional people an exceptional mix of lifestyle and residential opportunities. A seaside city that offers protected beach bays minutes from local bars and restaurants, boutique shops and alluring coffee houses and cafés dotting street art corners and hidden alleyways.
