Community Care Workers - Concord
Edmen Community Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of our community service partner, NNA Direct Support Service.

NNA Direct Support Service provides an easy way for people with a disability to access tailored support services in the comfort of their own home.

As an NDIS registered provider, they offer quality services to NDIS participants and caregivers across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.

About You

  • Hold a Cert III industry related qualification or higher
  • Drivers license & ability to transport participants in own personal, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance (KM's will be reimbursed)
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • COVID19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Manual Handing experience is highly regarded
  • Must be available to work Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays

About the Position
We are looking for people who have a passion for helping others. We have multiple opportunities for Community Care Workers to join our team in Concord and surrounds.

We have a variety of participants requiring assistance and your role will focus on supporting people to live their best life and promote choice and control.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact and empower people to maximise their independence.

  • Casual role with consistent, flexible hours & automated timesheet process
  • Shifts are 1030AM 1230PM on Monday, Wednesday & Friday
  • Short shifts (generally between 23 hours) to support participants with social support and community access appointments, shopping etc.

  • 24/7 support from rostering team & management
The role will see you providing quality support to our participants in an in home setting with duties as per below:

  • Transport and community access assistance to the supermarket, work or appointments
  • Domestic assistance such as cleaning and laundry
  • Assisting participants in working toward and achieving their goals.
  • Supporting customers with community engagement and activities for improved social skills, interactions and relationships
  • Medication assistance
