Your role as an Accounts Payable Officer will ensure suppliers are paid on time in line with vendor contracts and payment policies.

Reporting to the Vendor Support Office (VSO) Team Leader, you will manage and resolve vendor enquiries and reconcile Trade accounts.

We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building good relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

With a hybrid mix of time at home as well as our corporate office, this role will suit an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to progress their career and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Please note this is a Fixed Term, full time, parental leave position until March 2023.

In this role you will:

Work with suppliers to problem solve complex accounts queries
Maintain the open payables ledger, ensuring all balances are correct and all disputed balances are dealt with on a timely basis
Complete supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on old invoices and credit notes
Send claims and remittances
Partner with our Merchandise & Treasury teams to prepare and run and manage overseas supplier payments
Assist other Accounts officers and the Financial accounting team when required

We are looking for that little bit extra, so join us if you:

Experience in a similar Accounts Payable role ideally in Retail or similar industry
Intermediate and above Excel Skills (Pivot Tables & V-Lookups)
Have excellent attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills
Possess strong interpersonal skills and are highly organised
Outstanding communication skills with the confidence to engage with an array of stakeholders
