Job Overview

Oversee day to day production of all orders
Supervise and provide handson support to team members
Maintain high standards of quality of finished product.
Planning daily factory routine
Mange tool and equipment register
Enforce OH&S guidelines to ensure workplace injuries are minimized.
Reading and interpreting plans
Stock Control
Maintain cleanliness of factory and workstations
Manage leading hands (metalwork, joinery & upholstery) and casual staffing.
Day to day consultation with Production Coordinator and Supply Chain Manager and design team to identify production efficiencies.

About you

Product, Manufacturing or Fabrication background
Trade experience in Joinery and/or Cabinet Making would be advantageous
Furniture production experience highly regarded
Hands on leadership skills
Excellent communication and personal skills
Professional, organized, logical and works in an efficient manner
Able to identify, analyse & optimize for efficiency.
Output that meets the highest standards of quality workmanship
High attention to detail
Previous foreman and machinery experience (Panel Saw, CNC)
Ability to read and interpret plans.
Strong problemsolving skills.
