Recovre's Injury Management Consultants are the experts at intervention and their impeccable influencing skills empower clients to be the hero of their own story.

They do what it takes to help clients to be safe, healthy, and productive at work.


Responsibilities:


  • Building trust with your client, and a collaborative partnership with all stakeholders
  • Work as an inhouse Injury Manager with Australia's leading manufacturing company
  • Oversee a portfolio between cases (nonbillable)
  • Provide injury management and early intervention services, inclusive of obtaining relevant information from workers, employers, treating doctor(s) and other relevant professionals
  • Provide a high level of customer service and build and maintain relationships with site supervisors / managers, Employer Claims Team and injured workers to achieve positive outcomes and maximise business opportunities

Day-to-day this might include:


  • Identifying the hurdles our clients have to return to work following illness or injury. We work with them to problem solve, plan and achieve safe and sustainable recovery and return to work and independence
  • Proactively manage and drive RTW and claims management outcomes for workers compensation, income protections and nonwork related injuries/conditions
  • Maintain electronic databases for cases
  • 3point contact for all new injuries within 2 hours of notification
  • Facilitate medical consultations, case conferences, and teleconferences as required
  • Develop specific and appropriate RTW plans
  • Working from Employer sites up to 3 days per week (across Brisbane Metro area)
  • Liaise with treating parties to drive claims forward
  • Liaise with Employer Claims Team regarding barriers to RTW
  • Take part in claims reviews and/or injury management meetings as needed
  • Discuss the need for EAP, counselling or critical incident debriefing and recommend site personnel implement as required
  • Occasional coverage of interstate sites
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team. You'll contribute to team success by sharing your expertise and receiving others

To be an Injury Management Consultant, you'll also need registration, or the ability to acquire registration (with our support) for one of the following:

  • AHPRA
  • ESSA accreditation
  • ASORC or RCAA
