What will you do in this (diverse) role?

  • Supporting the team in executing the daytoday operations of the hospital
  • Liaising with the executives regarding business strategy and planning
  • Involvement in recruitment, training, and induction of new employees
  • Organising ongoing training and support for employees as required
  • Performance management
  • Ensuring the team are delivering the highest quality care to patients and owners
  • Attendance at continuous education courses, and employee social activities
  • Liaising with wholesale representatives
  • Coordinating and implementing any Hospital events, training, system integration
  • Overseeing and liaising with in Hospital program coordinators
  • Hospital equipment care and maintenance
  • Feedback, customer service, complaint management
  • Rostering, invoice checking, and weekly banking duties

YOU That is, if you are

  • An experienced Practice Manager, Human Resources Manager or Team Leader within a Veterinary Hospital or similar environment
  • A collaborative nature, with the ability to accept and offer feedback
  • Ability to work in a changing environment, and remaining calm in difficult situations
  • High level problem and decisionmaking skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train staff proven experience in this area is desirable
  • Effective time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude
  • Inventory Management experience
  • A certificate IV in Management/Human Resources and/or Veterinary Nursing or equivalent is highly desirable
