The Role

An exciting opportunity to be the Merchandise Planner for Jewel at Mimco


Please note this is a contract role until september 2023
Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage sales, inventory and profit through accurately forecasting sales, creating option plans, managing OTB and inseason trading
  • Create merchandise and option plans, forecasting sales, OTB, markdowns and gross margin with the aim of driving and achieving targets in accordance with the brand and business strategy
  • Work closely with the Merchandiser and Head of Merchandise whilst managing an Allocation Analyst
  • Manage WSSI ensuring sales, stock, markdowns and margin are accurately forecast and monitored
  • Present post season analysis and make recommendations to the team
  • Highly analytical with a background and strong understanding of the merchandise planning function
  • Advanced excel skills and an ability to use planning systems effectively
  • Strong commercial and retail knowledge
  • Great communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively and work collaboratively across the business
