About The Opportunity

The District Workforce Support Unit is diverse, dynamic team and is looking to recruit a driven, dedicated and engaging Workforce and Support and Analytics Officer to join the team.


The Workforce Support and Analytics Officer is responsible for a range of administrative and clerical support to enable the effective delivery of HR consultancy and advisory services provided by the team.


In addition, the position will provide value added HR metrics, analysis, reporting, solutions and performance against workforce key performance indicators.


The Workforce and Support and Analytics Officer will work collaboratively with a small team to support a diverse portfolio across the Local Health District including Mental Health, Primary and Community Health, Oral Health, Drug Health, Population Health and District-Wide Services.

You will be supported by a dedicated manager who places a strong focus on work life balance.


What you'll be doing

The Workforce Support and Analytics Officer is responsible for a range of administrative and clerical support to enable the effective delivery of services provided by the District Workforce Support Unit.


In addition, the position will provide value added HR metrics, analysis, reporting, solutions and performance against workforce key performance indicators.


Where you'll be working

Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area.

It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.


The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.

Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment.

The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.


Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the University of NSW and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.


How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  • Relevant qualifications, or working towards such and/or experience in Human Resources, Business Management and/or Statistics
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative and clerical support.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation in a variety of formats and situations including written and verbal communication skills with an ability to prepare, and critically review, all written documents including correspondence, minutes, briefs and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and maintain databases and integrity of data.
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis and report writing with attention to detail regarding human resource key performance indicators
  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills that lead to the development of innovative solutions to workplace issues
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently with limited direction as to work priorities with demonstrated experience managing and meeting deadlines
