Icon Water requires a highly organised individual with strong communication skills to join our Major Plants Branch as our
Branch Support Officer.


Using your strong communication and time management skills, you will provide high level administrative support to the Branch and undertake exciting projects and research as required.

As the Branch Support Officer, you will:

  • Provide administrative support for the Major Plants Branch, including site coordination, branch correspondence and communications, contract and procurement support, meeting and events coordination (e.g. toolbox talks) and other administrative duties as required
  • Provide administrative advice and support to the Manager Major Plants Branch and other team leaders
  • Diary management for the Branch Manager, Major Plants
  • Manage the daytoday site coordination requirements through communicating daily plans, access requests and associated activities occurring on Major Treatment Plant sites
  • Prepare presentation material for internal and external meetings and events
  • Provide secretariat support as required for various committees, meetings and events
  • Manage the Major Plants Branch SharePoint platform
  • Undertake special projects and reviews as requested
  • Arrange catering where required
  • Arrange travel and accommodation
  • Liaise with senior officers within Icon Water, ActewAGL and external Stakeholders
  • Provide backup support to the GM, Infrastructure Services as required
  • Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.
  • Experience in an Executive Assistant, coordination, support or project role is desirable.
  • Experience in providing information and assistance to a range of stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Experience in managing or coordinating site related activities will be highly regarded
  • Sound analytical skills with the ability to research and provide written reports with recommendations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures and processes including safety, quality, environment and human resources.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills including competency in the use of Microsoft packages including: Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Adobe, Visio
  • Accuracy in dealing with financial and other data.
