Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized in-home care to clients, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Develop and maintain trusting relationships with clients and their families, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment.

Assist clients with daily activities and routines, adapting to their individual care plans and preferences.

Monitor and report on clients' conditions, including any changes in health or behavior, to ensure timely and appropriate responses.

Liaise with healthcare professionals and other service providers as needed to coordinate care.

Promote clients' independence, respecting their dignity and privacy at all times.


Essential Requirements:

Fluent in Mandarin:

Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, both verbally and in writing, to cater to our Mandarin-speaking clients.

Unlimited Work Rights in Australia:
Must have the legal right to work in Australia without restrictions.

Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant qualifications in aged care, nursing, or similar fields are highly regarded. Previous experience in home care or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory.

Personal Attributes:
We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, patient, reliable, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Salary:
$ $29.55 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

• Clayton, VIC 3168: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• Certificate I
• IV (required)

Experience:

• Personal assistant: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• Mandarin (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (preferred)
