The Facility:


Operating both Public & Private Hospitals with a total of 367 beds, 307 for public patients and 60 for private patients, is conveniently located within one complex, bringing health care closer to home.

With demand for public services consistently increasing every year, making it a dynamic and fast-paced environment to work in. A lot of opportunities to expand and enhance your clinical or leadership skills are available.- The Emergency depart is a 48-bedded department which commenced service in November 201- 77,000 presentations per year with an admission rate of approximately 30%

  • FACEMlead teambased care
  • Excellent, varied casemix providing a broad clinical experience. This includes Paediatrics (approximately 17 % of presentation), Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Stroke Service.

The position:


Join the team on a full time, fixed term basis commencing February 2024. Contracts can be offered for months.


Registrars have the opportunity to attend daily outpatient clinics, where they can assess patients independently and discuss their cases with consultants located in the adjacent room.

In addition to offering a wide range of medical and surgical services, the hospital features a public emergency department, critical care unit, maternity unit, neonatology unit, paediatric unit, mental health unit, and various clinical support services.


Requirements:


  • Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience
  • On ACEM training program
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway
  • UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with ACEM interview date
  • IMG's assessed by ACEM and found to be substantially comparable.
