Safety Advisor to join their busy team.

About the role


Reporting directly to the Head of People, Safety and Compliance, you will manage and oversee all Health and Safety processes.

Drive and identify any risks that are associated with the services they provide.

Lead investigations, manage incident reports, conduct site audits and advise management on health and safety procedures in compliance with current legislative requirements.


Duties:


  • Conduct on site health and safety inspections and risk assessments, review and maintain SWMS and other relevant site documents
  • Manage returntowork plans and lead and support on incident investigations
  • Identify and establish new health and safety campaigns and initiatives to promote safety performance in the company
  • Advise the management team on safety standards in line with current regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Deliver toolbox talks and other onsite initiatives to continuously improve and implement health and safety processes

Skills & experience:


  • 5 years minimum experience in a Health and Safety Advisor role
  • Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, construction or facilities management
  • An understanding and knowledge of current health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Prior experience conducting site audits, reviewing and managing SWMS, delivering Toolbox Talks and managing returntowork plans
  • Strong administration and computer skills including MS Office Suite
