Finance - Associate/AVP


Team/ Role
A newly created role for an experienced assistant accountant in the finance department for the Australian business. There is potential for the role to extend beyond the initial 12 months due to continued business growth.


Responsibilities

  • Performing monthend processes, focusing on accuracy of expense reporting and intercompany balances
  • Preparation of expenses and employee reimbursements for payment by accounts payable
  • Preparation of invoices to external clients, and maintaining oversight on aged receivables
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of monthly and annual regulatory and statutory reports
  • Assist in preparation of annual tax returns (corporate tax and FBT)
  • Assist with annual audit, including preparation of financial statements
  • Expense management and reporting
  • Assist with adhoc projects

Qualifications

  • 12 years experience, preferably in finance industry
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Intermediate MS excel skills
  • Proactive in problem solving
