About the role:


As a Product Manager in the Transformation team your primary objective will be to lead and support a large strategic initiative, delivering our strategy of landing the right range and customer offer in the right store, enhancing our customers experience and ultimately supporting sales.

This is a fixed term contract role for 24 months.


Working closely within a central project team, you will liaise with a multitude of key stakeholders including our category teams, central CoE teams and digital teams and be key to landing innovative trials in store as part of a larger strategic initiative.

This dynamic role will see you interacting with all levels of the business, including strong relationship building with senior management.

The stakeholders are many and the pace is fast, providing you with the ability to demonstrate your project and stakeholder management skills.


You'll also:

  • Working closely with our Data Science and Digital teams to build longterm solutions
  • Identify capability gaps, develop and provide tailored training solutions to range and space planners, including supporting tools and materials
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and implement changes
  • Provide process governance, escalate issues in a timely manner and ensure decisions are aligned to business strategy
  • Provide advice on process development, analytics, SME functions

About you and your skills:


You will have experience in operating technical shelf and/or floor planning software at a high level with an understanding of store and layout design.


You'll also have:

  • Project management experience, an understanding or experience in agile delivery beneficial
  • Previous experience in a large Retail, fast paced, or FMCG environment
  • Experience on process improvement or change management
  • Experience in implementing new tools and capabilities to improve Business process
  • Experience developing and implementing training plans, with the ability to deliver to a variety of team members.
  • Technical aptitude, with the ability to liaise with technology teams.
  • Strong drive, initiative, and engagement capability to work selfdirected and in an organised manner within a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience in using large datasets, with the ability to analyse and determine performance to drive business outcomes
  • A strong understanding of product adjacency in a retail setting
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities as well as strong people skills
  • Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Autonomous and proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for retail and a genuine desire to see your work come to life for our customers in stores
