Description

Our client on the south side of Brisbane specialises in fabricating and welding pressure pipes, pressure vessels and structural steelwork.

They are looking for pipe fitters to join their team for current projects.

RATE:
$50.00/h+penalties

For this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

Tickets and licences

Certificate III Engineering, Fabrication/1st Class Welder

HRWL

Forklift (highly desirable)

Skills and experience
- ability to read and interpret drawings and P&ID
- strong experience with pressure vessels and pipe
- ability to pass pipe fitting tests
- strong pipe assembly experience
- strong fabrication experience
- good communication skills
- team player who is positive and energetic in the workplace
- responsible attitude to work safety and safe work methods
- ability to anticipate solutions for issues before the issue arises.
- a practical and logical approach to troubleshooting
- neatly presented and a good communicator
- exceptional work ethic
- ability to work overtime
