Mercure Canberra is one of the city's first established hotels, combining old-world charm with modern comforts. The hotel is located moments from the CBD, as well as the National Convention Centre and Australian War Memorial.

We currently have an excellent opportunity to join our team as the Food and Beverage Manager.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the team ensuring the highest possible standards of professionalism and guest experience in all of our food and beverage outlets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing the F&B operations for Olims Bar & Bistro, conferencing & events, the bottle shop, room service and minibar
Coordination between the food and beverage team and other outlets such as front office, housekeeping and sales to ensure successful communication of all relevant information
Preparation of monthly reports, including forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of monthly results
Taking our customerfocused service to the next level
Taking ownership of all guest feedback and leading change
Developing the next level of food and beverage leaders

Qualifications

Have at least 1 years experinence in a similar role

- posses creativity with the ability to design and implement successful revenue generating ideas.

Have the flexibilty to work a variety of shifts in this handson role
Have full working rights in Australia
