The position of Nursing Agency Operations Manager will be integral to their growth to become a leader in this industry.


The Role - Nursing Agency Operations Manager (Full Time)


Our client is seeking an exceptional Nursing Agency Operations Manager with a strong commitment to client care and a passion for helping vulnerable people within the community.

As this is a new role, there will be some flexibility and the option to work both from home and the client's office in Rockdale, NSW.


The position of Nursing Agency Operations Manager role will be responsible for ensuring that the day to day delivery of services is aligned to the business strategy and also meets the expectations and operational requirements of clients, employees, participants, their families and other stakeholders.


It is important that the incumbent in this role has easy access to a range of healthcare services and providers.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Oversee the daytoday operations of the nursing agency and ensuring the smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and protocols to meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and coordinate the recruitment, training, and scheduling of nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and institutions to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
  • Maintain and update nursing agency databases, records, and documentation.
  • Manage the budget and resources of the nursing agency, ensuring costeffectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments and implement best practices within the nursing agency.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to support the effective delivery of NDIS services.
  • Stay updated and ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines, policies, and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee staff members' recruitment, training, and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate service delivery and resolve any operational issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with NDIS participants, their families, and support coordinators.
  • Prepare monthly reports and regularly update senior management regarding operational performance and outcomes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Handle escalated client concerns and complaints, ensuring they are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced Operations Manager with:

  • 5 to 8 years' experience in a similar operational role
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse, noting current APHRA registration is preferred but not required.
  • Sound understanding of the principles of My Aged Care, Aged Care Reforms, Consumer Directed Care, NDIS commission.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to management performance, if required.
  • Highly developed organisational, administrative, and analytic skills with proven ability to determine priorities, coordinate activities and meet deadlines.
  • Has a wide range professional networks and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and quality care.
  • Ability to think rationally and logically during emergency situations.
  • Commitment to work within our companies' values.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests in a fastpaced environment.
  • Reliable, adaptable., motivated and committed to providing quality care.
  • Capacity to take initiative and to be innovative.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Comprehensive Assessment and Case Management experience.
  • Experience in provision of care and services to people from culturally & linguistically diverse.
