WAAPA is seeking a Production Manager to work closely with the Associate Dean Production and Design, Academic and Professional staff to manage the production process at WAAPA.
You will be an excellent communicator, capable of working both independently and collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will also enjoy using your highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and devise mutually beneficial solutions.
Key Criteria
To be successful in this role you will have significant experience managing the production process in a performing arts environment.
You will be able to demonstrate:
The capability to undertake complex project management across the full life cycle from identification to completion, preferably with experience in project management including leading teams engaged in such projects.
Highly developed relationship building and negotiation skills, including expertise in written and oral communication, preferably with direct experience in enabling diverse stakeholders to work together to achieve change.
Experience leading teams in supporting live theatre productions and/or music performances, including broad technical skills adaptable to different performing arts scenarios.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.
This full time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $97,113 to $108,813 pa (HEW 7) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
