Queen's Wharf Brisbane - The world-class entertainment precinct that captures the heart of Brisbane


Expected to commence a staged opening from April 2024, Queen's Wharf Brisbane will transform the CBD and river's edge into Queensland's newest entertainment and leisure destination.


Scores of restaurants, cafes and bars, the iconic Sky Deck 100 metres above the river with its 360 degree sweeping views and the open-air Leisure Deck sitting atop the podium and between all four towers will create new destinations for residents and visitors to enjoy.


The $3.6 billion Queen's Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium - a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.


When complete, Queen's Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.

Digital Manager to join the team based in Brisbane


About your new role


We are looking for a
Digital Manager to join our Pre-Opening team to plan, develop, and implement our customer facing digital channels and booking systems.

This role will be responsible for maintaining our websites, social channels, hotel & restaurant booking systems, and the digital tracking and reporting tools for Queens Wharf Brisbane.


You will also play a key role partnering with the project team, ensuring that all preopening work for the property is seamless allowing the group to open on time, on budget and achieve the business and departmental objectives ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with the highest standards.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement the website ecosystem, including the customerfacing architecture of the precinct and the individual hotel, restaurant, and entertainment outlets
  • Manage the build and implementation of the customerfacing hotel and restaurant bookings systems for the various outlets in Queens Wharf
  • Plan, develop, and implement digital reporting tools
  • Develop the social media content calendar whilst managing relationships with creative agencies, content developers and photographers.
  • Support with content updates, including briefs to internal creative agencies and photographers.
  • Ensure project governance and reporting process is adhered to, including accurate and timely management of action, decision, change and risk registers
  • Further develop the website and continue to update content
  • Support digital and content planning to ensure content delivers ROMI and builds audience
  • Support strong organisational brand positioning

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Previous experience in a senior digital marketing role (preferred)
  • Previous hotel and restaurant management experience (preferred)
  • Experience in a highvolume environment managing tight and conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail with a low margin of error
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe, or other digital reporting systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, databases and booking systems
