General Labourer - Canada Bay, Australia - Maxi Green Landscaping

Description

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking person who loves working outdoors. You must have a minimum of 12 months of experience working in the landscaping/gardening industry. Qualifications such as a 1-year Apprentice of Cert.
III in Horticulture and/or Landscape Construction favourable.

The position is part-time casual, working 4-5 days per week up to 6 hours per day across Monday-Friday, typically starting at 7.30 am.

Must have own mode of transport to travel to the Inner West of Sydney.


The below experience is essential:

• Trimming hedges and mowing lawns to spec
• Ability to dig to spec and use a wheelbarrow
• Planting and laying of grass to spec
• Onsite demolition and cleaning

Competent use and maintenance of the following petrol and hand tools are essential:

• Hedge trimmer
• Lawnmower
• Shovel
• Cordless drills and jackhammer

PPE Personal Protective Equipment (ie Steel boots and long pants) will be required.


We will provide the following:

• Hat
• Gloves
• Shirt
• Suncream
• Mask

This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and work on exciting projects. Great opportunity for a 3-4 years Apprenticeship in Horticulture/Landscape
