About the role

The Team Leader - Aged and Community Care (Social Support) will supervise an operational team to deliver Telecross, Telechat and other social support programs designed to reach isolated people and improve social inclusion.

The role will oversee the coordination, supervision, training and support a large volunteer workforce to deliver programs and monitor operational performance.

As part of a nation wide team delivering services to clients across Australia, the Team Leader collaborates with other internal teams to intake new clients, improve systems and processes, and ensure programs are informed by consumer choice, provide dignity and respect, and are responsive to identity, culture and diversity.

What you will bring

Sound knowledge gained through experience in operational leadership of staff and/or volunteers
Demonstrated ability at leading a team to follow and implement established frameworks, policies, procedures, work instructions, guidelines and standards
Demonstrated ability to use a data driven approach to monitor performance, identify issues and propose corrective actions.
Excellent records management and general administration skills
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including with people from a wide range of backgrounds

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 4. Salary from $82,063.28 FTE + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
