About the role


We are looking for an
Asset Replacement Supervisor and a
Track Response Supervisor within Rail Network Maintenance to join our Track Inland Team.

The positions will be responsible for the safe planning, execution, and day to day activities with our Track teams.


These roles are a great opportunity to join a high-performance team and contribute to initiatives which drive improvements in the safe and successful delivery of maintenance execution activities.

The Asset Replacement role is being offered on 8 days on, 6 days off roster.

The Track Response role is 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster.

Both roles are FIFO to the inland town of Tom Price.

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, you will/be:

  • Lead a team to complete a wide variety of maintenance and response tasks across the rail network
  • Conduct QA/QC and quality safety interactions, to ensure all work is executed safely, to the highest quality, and in line with business COP requirements
  • Coaching and developing contractor partners and providing felt leadership through frequent and proactive field engagement
  • Scope maintenance activities in the network
  • Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to align on operational plans and strategies
  • Focus on executing the weekly maintenance plans with strong attention to detail in the obstruction compliance space
  • Monitor and measure team performance to ensure that training, safety, production and cost KPIs are adhered to and feedback is provided
  • Ensure that the budget is managed in accordance with the plan and deliver improvements through PDP and other improvement initiatives

About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will preferably have:

  • Experience in Track maintenance or construction
  • execution or planning
  • Experience working with SAP work management and Microsoft Office Suite a strong IS&T capability
  • Exposure to contractor management systems
  • Cert 3 in Rail Infrastructure preferred
  • A commitment to the highest standards of work execution quality
  • A passion for driving improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety first at all times
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change
  • Commitment to RTIO ethics and integrity and core values
