We are excited to be hiring a
National Fleet and Maintenance Manager to join our growing business based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.


The waste industry is on the cusp of great change, and in this role, you'll have a front seat to the technological advances and innovations including the introduction of hydrogen fuel trucks.

Managing two direct reports, collaboration with the 34 branches nationally is paramount to ensuring success. With approximately 1,000 assets this is a truly diverse and fast paced role.


You'll be the key decision maker (not a gatekeeper) in which equipment is used, engaging directly with the business and external providers on a regular basis.

Who you are

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within waste or similar industry
  • Strong people management and relationship management experience
  • While P&L experience isn't required, it is important that you are comfortable with numbers and getting into the financial and commercial detail
  • Reporting eg units of measure for fleet optimisation
  • Interested and up to date with fleet technologies and innovations
  • Mechanic background or Engineering background and have worked your way up
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Natural inclination for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Continuous improvement lens
  • Ability to selfmanage and work to deadlines
