Executive Assistant - Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Community Corrections

Location:
Strawberry Hills with flexible/hybrid working


Employment type:
Ongoing Permanent full-time (35 hours per week)


Salary:
$
93,295 - $102,941 plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 5/6)


Your role


As an Executive Assistant, you will sit as part of a small team in the Office of the Assistant Commissioner located within a walking distance from central station, where you will provide a range of executive support and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and support the Senior Executives within the organisation to achieve organisational goals and objectives.


What you'll do

  • Assess and prioritise requests to facilitate the optimal use of the executive's time
  • Manage the Senior Executive/s diary appointments, records and correspondence, coordinate travel arrangements, and schedule and support meetings to facilitate the effective management of their agenda
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations, and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements
  • Gather, collate, and provide background information for the executive to support informed decision making and planning
  • Maintain and update administrative practices, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery
