About the Opportunity


As a Technical Sales Manager, you are accountable for technical solutions, writing tenders, grants, and proposals, conducting technical demos and conducting technical workshops for all of Powerledger's product portfolio.


  • Prepare and submit tender, grant, and proposal documentation and conduct demos for sales team approval.
  • Support regional sales targets by approaching and advising potential customers on how to use Powerledger offerings effectively.
  • Serve as a technical expert to analyze and understand customer objectives and create technical and commercial concepts to support the sales process.
  • Assist with negotiations and identify business opportunities to innovate portfolios.
  • Organize and manage tasks and resources to develop cuttingedge products.
  • Coordinate with other departments to obtain product feedback and support the Global Head of Business Development in key activities.
  • Facilitate interactions and coordination between Product Owners and the local Development team for efficient solutions.
  • Coordinate with Operations on PoC/trial progress in the region to identify defects and prioritize requirements for further releases and upgrades.

Requirements:


  • 5 + years of sales experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer
  • Knowledge of solution architecture, P2P trading, environmental commodity trading, and software solutions


  • Education

  • BSc/MSc, preferably PhD in engineering, economics, environment, software

Key measures of success

  • Consistently achieve activity targets, KPIs and priorities each quarter as detailed in the Objectives document.

Other measures:


  • Quality of planning: > 100% RACIbased stakeholder consultation for each tender, grant and other proposal submissions
  • Submitting the Operations scope of work for grant/tender/bids as described in the Grants Submissions document guide.
  • Customer Satisfaction: minimum of 8+ score in NPS per client each quarter.
  • On a daily basis by 5 PM, provide a complete status update on all activities in ClickUp
