Key Responsibilities
As an IT Support Officer, the incumbent will:
- Use Active Directory tools to assist in providing access controls and remote monitoring of computers and peripherals.
- Assist staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, laptops, peripheral equipment and supported software.
- Assess functional needs and provide advice regarding the specifications for software and hardware purchases.
- Using the incident management lifecycle, assist to resolve problems and incidents as they occur and contribute to the restoration of services in a timely and efficient manner.
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of relevant, proven experience or capacity to:
- Demonstrate a high level of client service skills including working to deadlines and within service level timeframes.
- Demonstrate a high level of written and oral communication skills with experience in providing advice and assistance to clients operating within their desktop environment.
- Ability to work in a based environment to deliver outcomes.
