The successful Administrator plays a key role within the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture in providing practical and efficient project administration support for UNSW's partnership with the NSW Department of Education and Training's (DET) Riverina Teaching Hub Program.

The role entails providing efficient and proactive project and administration support, assisting with developing communications and reports, and contributing to building and maintaining internal and external relationships.


Accountabilities:

  • Provide high level administrative support to the Riverina Teaching Hub Program.
  • Support the delivery of the Riverina Teaching Hub Program to achieve operational and strategic goals.
  • Provide practical and proactive project support and administrative services to project team and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project administration including coordination of workshops and meetings, minute taking, manage assigned actions and followups and project status reporting.
  • Develop and maintain detailed filing systems, spreadsheets, databases, websites, and other administrative systems.
  • Contribute to the development and management of effective communications with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the project.
  • Participate in relevant projects and business improvement activities to streamline processes and facilitate administrative efficiency.

Skills and Experience:

To be considered you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced time management, organisational and problemsolving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
