Our client, the Manitou Center Sydney (MCS) is a Dealership 100% owned by Manitou that covers the Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and ACT regions.

At Manitou Center Sydney we pride ourselves on offering a variety of top of the range Services and Manitou machines to End Customers catering to agriculture, construction and industry needs.

Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for skilled Fitter Mechanics to join the team in Lidcombe, NSW. You are expected to maintain operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

2 fulltime positions available
A$ A$85000 PA depending on experience
Location: Lidcombe, NSW

Critical Responsibilities:

Workshop repairs and maintenance
New machine pre delivery preparation and inspection
Customer satisfaction
Safety / Quality
Cross functional support

Main Responsibilities:

Fault finding, repairs and services on Manitou Center customer and internal machines,

including but not limited to:

Diesel and petrol engines
Diesel, petrol and LPG fuel systems
Steering systems
Transmissions hydrostatic, powershift and manual
Brake systems
Hydraulic valves and cylinders
Electrical starting, charging and accessories
Service and diagnostic repairs
To account for parts used on jobs by ensuring they are entered on service/repair

reports

Ensure unused parts are returned back to stock at job completion, following process
To document any items requiring attention while servicing equipment and report to the

supervisor as required

Liaise with spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs
To complete repair and services within reasonable time frames
To process workshop service/repair documentation on a daily basis
To present yourself in a professional manner at all times
To be available for overtime when required
Work in a safe manner, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and comply

with requirements of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation

Maintain good housekeeping
Other duties as directed
Liaise with spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs
Use Manitou systems and tools to log job status, service and repair reports, consult

documentation, escalate issues etc.

Good technical background experience in hydraulics and electrics for supporting
