Joining a National Security project as either a
Data Manager or Data Architect, your contribution will assist in the delivery of the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Information Environment to enable the integration of multiple dependent Australian Defence Force related projects.

Project activities include expanding the existing network, computing systems, complex gateway services, cloud services, mission services, data management services, and deployable systems.

Our client is executing a highly innovative delivery strategy enabling multi-classification working and a partnership between the ASD and Defence enterprises.

Specific duties for the Data Architect to include:

Lead the development and operation of data transport, processing and storage solutions
Ensure end to end operation of data systems
Review and analyse data infrastructure
Plan for future data solutions
Develop data management methodologies
Familiarity with big data systems

Specific duties for the Data Manager to include:

Develop and monitor polices for effective data management
Formulate management methodologies for quality data collection to ensure accuracy and legitimacy of data sets
Develop and implement secure data management procedures
Ensure secure and effective flow of data
Identify methods to organise, store and analyse data
Support, plan and conduct test and evaluation activities for deliverable systems and products
