About the team


The Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) supports the CEO through management of strategic projects, support, and coordination of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and management of the agency's corporate property portfolio.


About the role


The Executive Assistant provides a range of executive support services across a range of complex issues to support the Chief Executive's achievement of organisational objectives and oversees the Executive support staff and function for all Directors.


  • Responsible for the coordination of confidential calendar, inbox, invoice and travel management via Outlook and related systems
  • Ensure that all correspondence and requests effectively utilise the CEO's time by showing initiative to schedule meetings and events and assist as required on highlevel projects and varied administrative tasks proactively and proficiently
  • Gather, collate, and provide background information for the CEO support informed decision making and planning and draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, draft presentations, and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements

About you
The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • At least 3+ years of demonstrated experience in supporting Executives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrated experience in providing quality briefs and papers for the Minister's Office and internal/external meetings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive 'can do' attitude and be selfmotivated
  • Demonstrated ability to provide highlevel advice at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to maintain a high level of strict confidentiality and discretion
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment

Essential requirements

  • Significant demonstrated experience in the provision of executive support.
  • Experience in supervising an administration team.
