About Us


SASS Quality Support Services play an essential role in the delivery of quality support services to people living with disabilities in the Melbourne, Bendigo and Shepparton communities, helping them to achieve their goals and live their best life.


The Role


We are seeking experienced and passionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants at our supported residential service facility, located in Bendigo.

The positions are being offered on a casual basis with the view of permanency after a successful orientation period.


Tasks and Responsibilities
(but not limited to):


  • Daily living assistance include showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
  • Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
  • Emotionally support residents by engaging in conversations and actively listening to their concerns
  • Collaborate with other support staff/managers to exchange advice and best practices

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent

Experience

  • 13 years experience in similar role

Additional Requirements

  • A current driver's licence
  • National Police Check (issued within last 6 months)
  • Working with Children Check (Employer)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
